New “Moomin” Game to Make Its Japan Debut—Exclusive Giveaways Available Only at the Venue!
Shochiku Games, a division of Shochiku Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at the “Tokyo Game Show 2026,” to be held from Thursday, September 17, 2026, through Monday, September 21, 2026 (a national holiday). At this year’s Tokyo Game Show, visitors will be able to enjoy a hands-on demo of the highly anticipated new game, “Moomin: Midsummer Madness.” This game has garnered attention for being based on a novel, and this will mark its first appearance at a gaming event in Japan.
Additionally, we plan to distribute original promotional items exclusively at the venue. The latest builds of the haiku adventure game “OKU” and the roguelike action game “Eternal Palace Sakura,” which have attracted significant attention worldwide, will also be on display. １．MOOMIN: MIDSUMMER MADNESS
Moomin: Midsummer Madness is a point-and-click adventure game starring Moomintroll and Little My. Inspired by Tove Jansson’s classic novel Moominsummer Madness, the game features iconic scenes from the original work alongside brand-new stories. The world of Moominvalley is brought to life through beautiful, hand-drawn art that stays true to the original aesthetic.
