■A special message from the developer has arrived.
After spending years jumping around in pixel platformers, we at Bitmap Galaxy felt it was time to try something different. So we slowed things down, ditched the spikes, the boss fights, and the double-jumps and started building something calm, cozy, and rooted in nature. It all began with a few small prototypes, just simple ideas we played around with and to our surprise, everything just clicked. It became one of those rare projects where the process felt like play, not just work, and it slowly turned into something truly special. We’ve always admired the quiet beauty of Japanese and Korean gardens - the balance, the simplicity, the way every element feels intentional. That sense of calm and harmony quietly guided us as we shaped Preserve. Listening to our community along the way gave us the courage to take risks, follow weird ideas, and keep going when things got tricky. We put a lot of love into Preserve, and we hope it brings you a bit of peace and maybe a smile if you spot a dinosaur wandering around. Thanks for being part of our journey.
